“Family History Coloring Books: Making Your Heritage Accessible to Everyone”

Talk Abstract:
Family coloring books aren’t just for kids. They are a great way to make your heritage accessible and interesting to everyone. This webinar will discuss why and how to make a family coloring book and give examples of the different types you can do. We will also provide suggestions on ways to get everyone involved in the project, including how to create or find illustrations.

Speaker Bio:
Sandra Brimhall has a B.S. in Mass Communication from the University of Utah. She was a co-author of Brigham Young’s Homes and she has published many times in the Utah Historical Quarterly. She has received two awards from the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies for her articles. Wendy Brimhall has a B.A. in Family History from Brigham Young University. She did a family history internship at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky. She is employed as an associate genealogist with ProGenealogists.
